Chapter Nine

This was the story:

Lance must've been in some kind of cell. He thought it was safest to continue pretending to be unconscious, so he lied on a hard, cold floor, unmoving, for a long time. It was about an hour before he heard the metallic creaking of a door opening. Some Caps came in and put him in some sort of transport capsule. It was tight and cramped, so much so that he couldn't sit up. And it was pitch black, so he couldn't see a thing even when he opened his eyes. It felt like he was in a coffin. He was becoming more and more claustrophobic, just waiting to suffocate to death.

Umm, so am I the only one who really wonders what this moment was like??? Oh, Suzanne, how could you leave it out of MJ? :tears:
We all know Katniss was secretly hoping for this, anyway, even though she didn't admit it. She was thinking it.
For some reason I feel like Peeta probably came up with a more creative way to ask her. And I feel like it involved cheese buns, or some type of bread. SO, that being said, how do you think Peeta proposed to Katniss? When he actually did for real? No lie, I'm really curious :)

I think he'd bake a beautiful cake, and give her a slice. but before giving it to her, place the ring on top of it. :3 Not exactly original. but SWEET. Like cake sweet. not like AWWWW sweet. Cake sweet.

maybe he took her into the woods told her to look in a sertan drection and while she was looking over there he pulls out a emerald box from his back pocket gets down on one knee and when katniss turns around to tell peeta she doesnt see anything peeta opens the box and asks her

gale would probably get down on both knees and give her a dead squirrel and ask her. but peeta would come up with the sweetest thing in the world. i think peeta did something with mocking jays. like he'd train one to fly to katniss and it would drop the ring in his hand and he'd ask her then. seriously people can train animals to do stuff like that! I'm serious!
you know what would be funny?
if peeta found the ring somewhere in the forest, ask her, she'd say yes, the orcs would jump in and shout:
"HE'S GOT THE ONE RING! DARN YOU FRODO!" HA HA HA!

People always make fun of him because of bread. I'd like to think he proposed with something artsy, I'm not sure how, but people make it sound like he loves bread more than he loves Katniss.
