Chapter Fourteen

Casey found himself in a vast room at the very back of the training facility. He guessed it was once used as a hangar for aircraft or heavily armored vehicles because of the high ceiling and the massive, vertical-sliding garage doors on the wall to his right. There were a few trucks parked near the back beside one of the doors—old, beaten things with faded, peeling paint and cracked windows. They hardly looked capable of running at all.

Sorry about the Deadbolts art spam lately, but it's because it has officially been a year since these guys were created. This time last year they were no more than concepts I was working out in my brain, and now the first part of their story is almost complete. I'm proud of how far they've come and I'm really excited that I can say they've been going strong for a whole year

^{GAH I can't stop going back and looking at this. It's so well done! I love the way he's pushing her hair back and away from her face, and Jade's expression is so perfect, and the way that they're mid embrace is just so awesome, but it's rare that you see drawings of couples in this stage of the pose. And good lord those FOLDS. The fabric looks absolutely beautiful. I just really love this, I can feel the movement.
