Chapter Sixteen

The hallway was completely silent, which made Revis's footfalls seem even louder as his heavy boots landed on the steel. Not good when you were trying not to be seen. Why did it have to be so quiet? At least it wouldn't be hard to hear if someone was coming.

He stopped at the thick, tightly-sealed door and pulled the key card from his pocket. Bracing himself for the mechanical hiss, he inserted it into the slot and slipped inside as soon as there was a gap big enough to fit through. Then he hurried to the cell door and unlocked that too.

or just the fact that he's factionless. I think the factionless are so cool.

I also couldn't remember exactly how he's described, but this is how I picture him, in my mind.
